The UK Data Centre Interest Group

Where UK Data Centre Operators Meet

The UK Data Centre Interest Group

Set up to share experiences amongst Data Centre Operators and Policy Makers to explore innovative methodologies and technologies and discuss how forthcoming legislation and policy will impact the sector.

The group meets every 3 months (Feb, May, Aug and Nov). The venue is  the Mayfair Hotel, Mayfair, London from 15:00 - 17:00 followed by refreshments.

Genuine Peer-to-Peer Networking

There are now over 650 members of the group representing over 300 Data Centres from leading UK Enterprises with approximately 120 attendees at each quarterly meeting. Probably the most valuable aspects of the Group, to the members, is the genuine opportunity to network with peers........  as a result of the meetings not being open to vendors.

“I really enjoy attending the UKDCIG events. I find the presentations very valuable as well as the discussions that take place after the presentations - genuine industry professionals and no sales pitch"

Alfonso Aranda Arias. Global Data Center Operations.  IBM

"This event is a breath of fresh air in an industry plagued by half-concealed agendas and 'greenwash'.  Great discussions that explore many of the pressing issues regarding sustainability....."

Prof Ian F Bitterlin, Consulting Engineer & Visiting Professor, University of Leeds
